The real cause behind swfl

Bee INFESTATIONS

Southwest Florida’s warm climate allows bees, wasps, and hornets to remain active for much of the year. Our weather creates ideal conditions for stinging insects to build nests, expand colonies, and return to protected areas around homes and businesses. Several factors can contribute to bee, wasp, and hornet activity around your property:

  • Rooflines, soffits, patios, sheds, and gaps in exterior walls provide protected nesting areas
  • Flowering plants, landscaping, and irrigation can attract bees and wasps
  • Warm year-round temperatures allow colonies to stay active longer
  • Untreated nests can continue growing and become more aggressive over time

FREE ESTIMATE

Our team offers free estimates over the phone or by email for residential bee, wasp, and hornet elimination in Southwest Florida. For commercial clients, we can perform a property walkthrough and provide a quote based on the location, severity, and accessibility of the nest or colony.

Colony Elimination

Once the active nest or colony location is identified, our team applies a targeted treatment designed to eliminate the colony. Because we are exterminators, we do not relocate bees. Our goal is to safely and effectively eliminate the active infestation and reduce the risk of continued activity around your home or business.

Patch Application

After the initial treatment, we return in about one week to confirm that the remaining colony activity is gone. When needed, we also apply a patch to the affected entry point to help prevent bees from reinfesting the same area. To maintain a pest-free environment, we recommend a quarterly pest control program.

Why Bee Problems Should Be Treated Quickly

Bees, wasps, and hornets can create serious safety concerns when nests are located near doors, patios, pool cages, garages, walkways, playground areas, or other places where people and pets spend time. While some stinging insects are beneficial in nature, active colonies around homes and businesses can become dangerous when they are too close to daily activity.

Stings and Safety Risks

Wasps and hornets can become aggressive when their nest is disturbed. Bees may also sting when they feel the colony is threatened. For people with allergies, even one sting can be serious. Professional treatment helps reduce the risk of accidental stings and keeps high-traffic areas safer for your family, guests, customers, and pets.

Activity Around Walls, Soffits, and Rooflines

Bees often enter small openings around soffits, rooflines, exterior walls, and other protected spaces. Once inside, they may build a colony within a wall void or structural area. These infestations should be handled carefully to eliminate the colony and prevent bees from returning to the same entry point.

Recurring Activity in the Same Area

If bees, wasps, or hornets keep returning to the same area, there may be a nest nearby or an opening that needs to be sealed after treatment. Our service includes follow-up when needed to confirm activity is gone and apply a patch to help prevent reinfestation.
