Rich from Crews Complete Pest Solutions came yesterday for our quarterly service, and as always, the work was exceptional! After applying the pesticide, he spent a lot of time carefully removing all the cobwebs from our pool cage. Their customer service is also top-notch. A few weeks ago, we found fleas on our kitty. I called Mike, and he had someone out the very next day to take care of it! I highly recommend Crews Complete Pest Solutions.

Common Household Pests We Treat
Our recurring residential pest control program is designed for many of the pests Southwest Florida homeowners encounter most often.

Ants
We treat common household ants and inspect areas where they are entering or trailing. Ant activity may appear around kitchens, bathrooms, windows, exterior walls, driveways and landscaping.
Common signs of ant activity:
> Trails along countertops, baseboards or windows
> Ants gathering near sinks, pet bowls or food storage
> Mounds or activity around driveways, patios and landscaping
Outdoor Cockroaches and Palmetto Bugs
Large outdoor cockroaches frequently live in landscaping, drains, garages, mulch and other damp areas. They may occasionally enter through doors, plumbing openings or gaps around the structure.
Our recurring service helps reduce the conditions and entry activity that bring these unwanted visitors indoors.
German cockroaches require a separate, specialized treatment program.

Spiders
Spiders often build webs around lanais, pool cages, porches, garages, windows and exterior lights. Our technicians address accessible webbing and treat areas where spiders and their insect prey are active.
Common spider activity areas:
> Pool cages, lanais and screened enclosures
> Eaves, windows and exterior light fixtures
> Garages, porches and outdoor storage areas
Silverfish
Silverfish prefer humid, protected spaces and may be found in bathrooms, closets, cabinets, attics and storage areas.
Common signs of silverfish:
> Fast-moving silver insects in bathrooms or closets
> Activity around cardboard boxes, books or stored papers
> Small irregular damage to paper, wallpaper or fabrics
Controlling moisture and treating likely hiding areas can help reduce activity.

Earwigs
Earwigs are commonly associated with damp landscaping, mulch and leaf litter. They may move indoors during heavy rain or changing outdoor conditions.
Where earwigs are commonly found:
> Under mulch, pots and landscape debris
> Near exterior doors and garages
> In bathrooms, laundry rooms and other damp spaces
Despite their noticeable rear pincers, earwigs are generally nuisance invaders rather than pests that establish large indoor infestations.
Pantry Pests and Occasional Invaders
Depending on the pest and source of the problem, we can help identify and address occasional household insects, including certain beetles, moths and other nuisance pests.
You may notice:
> Small moths flying around kitchens or pantries
> Beetles inside flour, cereal, rice or pet food
> Insects gathering near windows or interior lights

Not Sure What Pest You Have?
Text us a photo or give us a call! Correct identification helps us recommend the right service rather than applying a one-size-fits-all treatment.
Our Residential Pest Control Process
Effective pest control starts with understanding where pests are coming from—not simply spraying the areas where they happen to be seen. At Crews Complete, all of our technicians are experts on pest identification, targeted and safe application, as well as client education. If covered unexpected pest activity appears between scheduled visits, contact our office and we’ll stop by for a one-time treatment, free of cost.
1. Property Inspection
Your technician evaluates current pest activity and looks for conditions that allow pests to enter the home. Common pest hot-spots include kitchens, bathrooms, patios, and garages. We also listen to what you have been seeing, where it occurs and how frequently it appears.
2. Initial Interior and Exterior Treatment
At the beginning of service, we address active pest concerns and establish protection around the home. That typically includes treatment of interior crevices, targeted application in active pest areas, exterior perimeter protection, and recommendations to optimize sanitation and moisture in the home.
3. Ongoing Exterior Protection
After the initial service, quarterly routine visits focus primarily on maintaining the exterior barrier and stopping pests before they move indoors.
4. Communication and Continued Support
After each appointment, your technician will communicate notable findings and let you know when a condition around the home may be contributing to pest activity.
5. Call Back Service Included
If covered pest activity appears between scheduled visits, contact our office so we can review the concern and re-treat the problem, free of cost.
Why Southwest Florida Homes Need Ongoing Pest Control
Pests are not limited to one season in Southwest Florida. Warm weather allows SWFL insects to remain active throughout the year, while rain, humidity, landscaping and nearby waterways create additional places for pests to feed, breed and hide.
Even a clean and well-maintained home can experience pest activity in SWFL.
Ants may enter while searching for food or dry shelter. Outdoor cockroaches can move inside through gaps around doors, plumbing and utility lines. Spiders build webs around pool cages, lanais, garages and exterior lights where other insects gather.
Instead of waiting for pests to become established indoors, recurring pest control creates an exterior layer of protection around your home and addresses new activity as conditions change.
Some Pest Problems Require Specialized Treatment
A standard recurring pest control program covers many common household pests, but certain infestations require additional products, equipment, preparation or follow-up. Many of the services below can be added on for a discounted rate.

German roaches
German roaches live and reproduce indoors and often hide behind appliances, inside cabinets and near plumbing.

Rodents
Rats and mice require inspection, trapping and, when appropriate, exclusion recommendations or entry-point repairs.

Termites
Termites are wood-destroying organisms and are not controlled through a standard household perimeter treatment.

Bed Bugs
Bed bugs require a dedicated inspection and treatment plan based on the affected rooms and severity of the infestation.

Mosquitoes
Mosquito treatment targets outdoor resting and breeding areas throughout the yard and is provided separately from standard perimeter pest control.

Fleas and Ticks
Active flea or tick problems may require treatment of the home or yard along with customer preparation and pet care coordinated through a veterinarian.

Frequently Asked Questions
Residential Pest Control in Southwest Florida
What does your residential pest control service cover?
Our standard residential program is designed to control many common household pests, including ants, outdoor cockroaches, spiders, silverfish, earwigs, and occasional invaders.
German roaches, termites, bed bugs, rodents, mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, stinging insects and wildlife generally require separate specialized services. We always work with our loyal clients to bundle and save on services when applicable.
How often should my Southwest Florida home be treated?
Quarterly service is the best fit for many Southwest Florida homes because insects remain active throughout the year. Your treatment schedule may vary based on the property, pest pressure and type of service recommended.
Do you spray inside the house every visit?
Not necessarily. Interior treatment is performed during the initial service or when an active pest issue requires it. Quarterly visits generally focus on exterior protection, which helps reduce pest activity before it reaches the interior. However, we can always do interior treatments when requested.
Is pest control safe for children and pets?
Yes – Crews Complete provides professional pest control with trained and licensed professionals. We always apply our products according to label and local regulations and use eco products within the home. Always tell your technician about children, pets, aquariums or other household considerations before treatment.
Can you provide pest control while I am away seasonally?
Yes! We work with seasonal residents and vacation-home owners. Exterior service can be completed while you are away, and we can coordinate with you for interior service at any time.
Can you treat my pool cage or lanai?
Yes! Pool cages and lanais are common areas for spider and insect activity in Southwest Florida. Your technician can treat your pool cage or lanai at no additional cost – just be sure it is unlocked and accessible at time of service.
