Southwest Florida has several ant species, and each one causes different problems:
Fire Ants – These are the worst. Aggressive, painful stings, massive colonies, and they build mounds all over your lawn. Kids and pets can’t play outside safely when fire ants are around. Peak mound building is during rainy season, but they’re active year-round.
Big Headed Ants – They displace native species and create soil mounds that ruin your landscaping. You’ll see piles of sand on your driveway, patio, and around your yard. They’re everywhere in Southwest Florida and spreading fast.
Carpenter Ants – These don’t eat wood, but they tunnel through it to build nests. They can cause serious structural damage if left unchecked. You’ll usually see them at night, and they’re attracted to moisture and damaged wood.
Ghost Ants – Tiny ants (you can barely see them) that invade kitchens and bathrooms. They love sweet foods and moisture. Super annoying when they’re trailing across your counters.
White-Footed Ants – Another tiny ant that forms massive colonies. They don’t respond well to regular baits, so they need specialized treatment.
Argentine Ants – Form super-colonies that can have millions of workers. Once they’re established, they’re tough to eliminate without professional help.

We inspect your property—inside and outside—to identify species, locate colonies, find trails, and figure out where they’re nesting.

We Hit Them Where It Counts
We treat directly at the source—mounds, nesting sites, foraging trails, entry points. We’re not just spraying randomly. We apply products where ants actually are, which gets better results and uses less product.
We Come Back to Finish the Job
Ants don’t disappear after one treatment. Some colonies survive, new ones move in from neighboring properties, and some ant species take weeks to eliminate completely. We do follow-up visits to knock down survivors and make sure new activity gets handled before it becomes a problem again.
Fire Ants – You’ll see dead or dying ants within 24-48 hours. Mounds will be gone within a week or two. But new colonies can migrate onto your property, so ongoing control works best.
Indoor Ants – Baits take time to work (they have to be carried back to the colony), but you should see a significant reduction within a week. Complete elimination usually takes 2-3 treatments.
Big Headed Ants – These are persistent. You’ll see improvement quickly, but keeping them gone requires ongoing perimeter treatments.
